The current Axie Infinity “Scholarship” model that Guilds utilize to lend stale assets to players (otherwise known as scholars) is incredibly flawed. The process is very manual and requires running a fulltime management business just to lend assets including relying on a 3rd party “Scholarship Manager” to manage each “Scholar” (renter).

One of the largest painpoints Guilds face is the ability to permissionlessly scale the model given the hiring needs of “managers” they can trust. Further, the existing scholarship model is not easily and painlessly able for any average asset owner to put their Axies to use to produce passive income. Given the centralized and closed ecosystem nature of the RONIN blockchain Axie runs on, we have developed the best way to automate this process combinding web2 and 3 tactics..

How it Works

For Axie Owners (lender)

• Comes onto the Scholar Platform and connects their RONIN wallet
• Selects a set of 3 Axies to put up for use by a “Scholar”
• Owner goes through the UX flow which transfers the Axie set to a fresh RONIN wallet that is generated by the platform automatically.
  • This new wallet’s private key is stored in a Hash vault on the backend for any future asset transfers/revenue payouts
  • At this point a fresh Axie Infinity account (email and password) is also generated and connected to the RONIN wallet. This account is stored in a Hash vault as well
• Their Axies are now listed on the platform for use by Scholars!
• At any point the Axie Owner (Lender) can request all Axies transferred back to their original wallet with the click of a button fully automated

For Scholars seeking Axies (renters)

• Scholar comes onto the Scholar platform and browses bundles of Axies for use (rent)
